The second quarter of this year for NVIDIA was terrible, with overall gaming revenue falling by 44% compared to the previous quarter and 33% yearly (year-over-year vs. Q3 2021). What’s more significant is that CEO Jensen Huang also hinted that we might learn more about the company’s upcoming gaming GPU architecture at GTC 2022 at the end of the month. The CEO keynote is scheduled to occur on September 20, while the next NVIDIA GTC will begin on September 19 and run through September 22. Therefore, it appears that we will essentially receive an official to reveal next month in September. This will most certainly not be a launch event for the new GeForce RTX 40-series lineup, but rather a reveal.
